Wayne, I would expect that you are not seeing the entire illustration. Somewhere in the materials there is a page that should the spreads or fees for the annuity. An example of this was 17.59%, 17.63% and 11.08% in select years. The sample also had 0.00% and low rates also over the range of years. After listening to your video, I would expect these excessive benchmarks to be capped or have a spread taken or possibly both. This, of course, would alter valuations for these years.
Question: What is your opinion of this type of presentation??? and should it spell out caps (i.e. 10%) and spreads (i.e. 3%) which might reduce the actual rate of a 17% rate to something like 7% (10% cap and 3% spread)???? Please advise.
